BHAAAS

This visual identity was developed for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), a non-profit organization connecting professionals, researchers, and creatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States.

Concept

The identity is based on the triangle, referencing the geographical shape of Bosnia and Herzegovina while symbolizing progress and collaboration. The form also represents the three main departments of BHAAAS: Medicine and Health, Technical and Natural Sciences, and HARTS (Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences).

Design Approach

The logo is constructed from simple geometric forms that visually connect Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States. The color system draws from the flags of both countries: blue as the dominant shared color, complemented by red and yellow, symbolizing unity, exchange, and cooperation.
